Operation Redwing Memorial

This is the Cupertino Veterans Memorial in Cupertino CA. The two cast iron statues is of Matthew Axelson and James Suh, natives of the area.

Operation Redwing was the largest loss of special operation members since the Battle of Mogadishu until the recent 2011 Chinook shootdown in Afghanistan.
